Safety Mission Statement

At Empire Fence Company, the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and communities are our top priorities. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all individuals involved in our operations.

We take pride in being one of the select few companies nationwide to have a Safety Director certified with an OSHA 500 Certificate. This certification enables us to provide OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 construction training directly to our employees, ensuring their safety and expertise on the job.

Empire's Safety Culture

We prioritize safety through our steadfast commitment to building a safety-centric culture. During our weekly Monday meetings, our dedicated safety director covers a pertinent safety topic. This ensures that safety remains at the forefront of our minds throughout the year, resulting in continuous growth in our safety awareness and practices. Additionally, we mandate First Aid/CPR certification classes throughout the year to ensure all new and existing employees are certified, highlighting our emphasis on workplace safety.

Monday Morning Meetings

At Empire, our weekly Monday Morning Meetings set the tone for a focused and unified start to every week. Our founder, Matt Warner, started these gatherings which have developed into a cornerstone of our culture. The meetings help build clarity, accountability, and a strong sense of team alignment.

Each meeting brings the entire team together to review important topics such as safety, ongoing company events, and the priorities that guide our week. We also incorporate team discussions, shared stories, and guest speakers who help reinforce our commitment to purpose, growth, and genuine connection.

What began as a simple weekly huddle has grown into a practice that has set a new standard for how companies can build culture, strengthen relationships, and create momentum at the start of each week. These meetings remind us that our work is not only about the projects we complete but also about
the people who make them possible.
